About Yankee Stadium

Yankee Stadium is a historic baseball stadium located in The Bronx borough of New York City, home to Major League Baseball's New York Yankees. While it’s famous for ball games, the stadium is also a popular venue for concerts, outdoor NHL games, and soccer matches.

As far as sports venues go, Yankee Stadium has quite the history. It was first opened a century ago in 1923, being solely funded by then Yankees owner Jacob Ruppert who was tired of sharing The Polo Grounds with the New York Giants. Between 1973 and 1975, the stadium underwent extensive renovation, transforming its appearance entirely. This new look lasted for over 30 years, before a new-and-improved Yankee Stadium resembling the original 1923 exterior was opened in 2009 in an adjacent area. The old stadium was demolished and the area was adapted into a public ballpark, The Elston Gene Howard Field. Costing a sizable $2.3 Billion to construct, the new Yankee Stadium is one of the most expensive sports stadiums ever built and has the third-largest seating capacity in Major League Baseball. So if your business has season tickets for the New York Yankees or New York City FC, what can you expect? Let’s take a closer look at what Yankee Stadium has to offer corporate clients.
